1. The Celestial Realm
The Celestial Realm is the realm where the vast majority of immortals reside. It shares the same spatial and temporal dimensions as the Netherworld, but a different spatial and temporal dimension from the human realm. Immortals can see all beings in the Netherworld and the human realm. Immortals enjoy a life of pure happiness and enjoyment, free to do whatever they desire and have their wishes fulfilled. Only a few immortals fall from grace. Some may fall into demonic ways and become Asuras, enemies of the Celestial Realm, suppressed and annihilated by the gods and heavenly generals, and imprisoned in celestial prisons. Others may violate the rules of the Celestial Realm and be reborn as humans or livestock in the human realm, or be relegated to the Netherworld and become ghost officials and sent to Hell. The Celestial Realm controls and sets the rules of the universe, ruling over the three realms of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity. When the Netherworld and the human realm become chaotic and sentient beings harm and kill each other, the Celestial Realm dispatches immortals to the Netherworld to take over the government and re-establish the rules of the Netherworld, or to be reborn as humans and take over the government of the human realm and re-establish the rules of the human realm. These disruptive actions are primarily intended to ensure the normal operation of the three realms.
2. The Netherworld
1. Hell
Hell is a place in the netherworld where souls are imprisoned and tortured, much like the various prisons in the human world that imprison and torture human bodies. Hell is governed and enforced by jailers and other positions, similar to prison wardens and guards in the human world. The various punishments in hell are similar to those in the human world. For example, souls can be thrown into a rolling knives, scalded, frozen, burned, beaten with clubs, pierced with spikes into the eyes or genitals, and cut with scissors. The intensity of the pain is similar to the torture inflicted on the human body, except that the body dies at a certain point, while the soul suffers incessantly and never dies. The physical pain of humans and animals is actually the pain of the soul. Without the soul, the body would not suffer. Therefore, there are two ways to alleviate physical pain: administering anesthetics to paralyze the soul, rendering it unable to perceive the body; and allowing the soul to temporarily leave the body. The rules of Hell dictate that souls be subjected to various punishments daily. The number of punishments imposed depends primarily on the mood of the Hell Jailer, who typically tortures souls until they are satisfied.
2. The Underworld
The underworld and the human realm are two distinct spatial dimensions. Souls in the underworld can see other souls, spirits, and all living beings in the human world, but living beings in the human world cannot see souls and spirits in the underworld. Souls in the underworld cannot see sunlight. If they do not avoid sunlight, they experience the same pain as being burned by fire. Souls can only move in places without sunlight, but they are not significantly harmed by artificial lighting. Dark, humid environments are ideal habitats for ghosts. After a soul leaves the body, it becomes a wandering ghost. The underworld will dispatch ghost messengers to capture it. Based on the situation, the soul is then determined to remain in the underworld, waiting for reincarnation. These decisions can include punishment in Hell, becoming a hungry ghost, being reborn as a human or animal, or ascending to heaven to be deified or enshrined as a heavenly soldier or general. If one doesn't wait in the underworld to reincarnate, doesn't go to hell, doesn't become a hungry ghost, and doesn't ascend to heaven to be deified and become a heavenly soldier or general, then one will be chosen from among the millions of species on Earth to be reborn. Generally, a species will be reborn when a new life is born. Unless there is a mass extinction of species on Earth and no significant reproduction, then one must wait in the underworld for new life to be born before being reborn.
3. The Human Realm
Humans are currently the most intelligent of all life forms on Earth. There are nearly 9 million species on Earth, and humans are just one of them. Therefore, being reborn as a human among these millions of species is akin to winning the lottery. Therefore, being reborn as a human is the highest reward for all beings in the Three Realms. The human realm resides in a low-dimensional space, and the millions of species in it cannot see the gods and spirits of the celestial realm or the ghosts of the netherworld. However, as long as gods and spirits are nearby, humans and animals don't need to speak; they can simply speak silently in their hearts, and the gods and spirits will understand what they are saying. Speaking with the heart is speaking with the soul, and gods and spirits, as souls, can naturally hear the voice of the soul directly. As human beings, there shouldn't be too much disparity between people. Millions of other species of livestock depend on human rule for survival, so the living conditions of humans will also affect the living conditions of other species of animals. If some humans live lives better than those of celestial beings, while others live lives worse than those of livestock and animals, the sentient beings in the three realms will resent and object to whether they are reborn as humans or livestock. This will also affect the judgments of the ghost officials in the netherworld. If all reborn humans aspire to be immortals and refuse to be reborn as beings worse off than animals, chaos will begin. Those who live better than immortals satisfy their own vanity by enslaving and oppressing those who live worse than animals. Therefore, changing the rules of the human realm is crucial, lowering the expectations of those who aspire to a life better than immortals and improving the quality of life of those who live worse than animals. Reestablishing the rules and regulations of a peaceful nation is crucial, allowing humanity to return to a peaceful and beautiful state of life.
